Alpaca fibres naturally wick moisture away from your skin, repelling the elements and sweat to keep you dry and comfortable.

Whether it’s freezing outside, or a record-breaking high, our socks are temperature regulating to keep you comfortable.

  • Hypoallergenic + Odourless

Because alpaca fibres attract little to no lanolin (a waxy substance that attracts dust), the socks stay extremely soft, hypoallergenic and odourless.

  • Antimicrobial Properties

Alpaca fibres naturally regulate air flowing through, preventing bacteria + odors from stay trapped inside the socks.

"We like longer trips and laundry isn’t our favorite task. These socks hold up to multi day use without getting smelly or losing their loft. I have worn my boot version for 5 days, these are for running, 3 days so far. The key is they aren’t one wear and done."

  • Georgie H. ★★★★★

"Got these for my brother as a gift and he Loves them! He is a very outdoorsy person (hunting, fishing, etc) and said these are the best socks ever! I will definitely be gifting more of these!!"

FAQ

Why is Alpaca Fibre better than Merino Wool?

Alpaca socks outperform merino in key areas: they’re warmer, softer, and more durable. Alpaca fibres are naturally water-resistant and wick moisture better, keeping your feet dry and comfortable in any condition. Plus, they’re hypoallergenic and don’t retain odors like merino wool. For the ultimate blend of luxury and practicality, alpaca socks are simply unbeatable.

Who owns PACOS & where are the socks made?

PACOS was founded by a young entrepreneur from New Zealand's South Island, driven by a mission to shift the clothing industry away from polyester and synthetic fabrics. We believe that just as consumers are becoming more conscious of what they put in their bodies, they will also start to care more about what they wear on their skin, opting for natural and sustainable options. After a visit to Shanghai in June, we chose a Chinese supplier whose manufacturing facilities are world-class. Their efficiency and expertise in alpaca socks surpassed any domestic manufacturer we encountered. Stay tuned for more updates! 👀

How does the sizing guide work?

Our sizing guide is simple:

  • Large fits Men's US sizes 6-9 and Women's US sizes 7.5-10.5.
  • X-Large fits Men's US sizes 9-12 and Women's US sizes 10.5-13.5.

Choose Large if you're within the smaller size range, and X-Large for the larger range.

Are you going to make more Alpaca fibre related products?

PACOS launched earlier this year with our flagship alpaca socks, and we’re just getting started! As our brand grows, we plan to expand into a full line of alpaca fiber products, offering the same quality and comfort across a variety of natural, sustainable items. Stay tuned—there’s much more to come!

Can I return the socks if I dont like them?
